Antiques fairs and markets offer a great way to browse and buy.
With so many exhibitors or stallholders in one place you can view a lot of different items quickly and compare prices and quality.
Depending on the event, the first day or morning may be for reserved for trade buyers before the general public gain access.
Some antiques markets are held weekly whereas some fairs may be quarterly, biannual, once a year or have some other frequency. Check the Calendar section of this website for details or view the listings every week in the Antiques Trade Gazette newspaper.
No more fairs to be held at Stoneleigh site

Lester and French syndicate launch a new fair in Miami for February

Masterpiece’s new sponsor
06 January 2014Masterpiece London have announced a principal sponsor, RBC Wealth Management, for this year’s fair from June 26 to July 2 at The Royal Hospital Chelsea.
TEFAF Beijing put on hold for now but could return at later date

Dealers’ sale of 19th century cannons brings reward for military charity
13 September 2013Before the opening of Masterpiece London, London dealers Apter-Fredericks pledged to donate £1000 to the military charity Walking With the Wounded if they sold a pair of 19th century English cannons at the fair.
Nelson and IACF to charge VAT on stands
03 September 2013Nelson Events and IACF have announced that they will start charging reduced rate VAT on stands at their fairs from October 1. In a letter to ATG this week, they explain why they have been forced into this move, albeit reluctantly.
