Dorotheum

Founded in 1707 by Kaiser Joseph I, Dorotheum is an Austrian auction house with headquarters in Vienna.

It has offices around its home country and internationally including in London, Brussels, Milan, Dusseldorf, Munich, Rome and Prague.

The firm holds about 600 auctions a year across 40 different categories of art, antiques and collectables. Its notable specialties include modern and contemporary art, jewellery and old master and nineteenth century paintings.
