Plaque brings together talents of two top Doulton artists

The sale of Art & Design post 1880 at Gorringe’s (25% buyer’s premium) on September 16 included a rare Doulton plaque that combined the talents of two of its best Burslem artists: art director Charles Noke (1858-1941) and the painter and gilder William G Hodkinson (1880-1920).
