Dealers presenting objects and art on this theme included Serhat Ahmet and M&D Moir.
Markies Antiques sold a number of Art Deco items including bronzes and a 12-seater dining set by Art Deco designer Maurice Adams. It sold to a new client in the UK for £15,000.

Other sales included Les Faucheurs, a c.1903 oil on canvas by Henri Martin (1980-1943) at Winsor Birch which had a c.£500,000 asking price.
Hatchwell Antiques sold its mid-19th century 4-4-0 broad gauge locomotive model which had an asking price of £34,000.
With around 80 exhibitors, the fair had a good run of early sales in the first two days.
