British Art Fair

British Art Fair specialises in Post-War, Modern and Contemporary art. Exhibitors offer a variety of paintings, drawings, photographs, prints and sculptures covering the past 100 years of British art with an emphasis on Modern British and the latest contemporary art in all media.

The fair was founded in 1988 by Gay Hutson and Angela Wynn on the basis that Modern British art needed a public platform. Until 2000 the event was known as the 20th Century British Art Fair and was for many years held at the Royal College. Ramsay Fairs took ownership of the fair in 2022 and it is now held every autumn at Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea, London.
