Wallis and Wallis

Wallis & Wallis is a long established toy, militaria and collectables auction house based in Lewes in East Sussex.

The business dates back to 1928 when Major Patrick Stonall Wallis set up an estate agents and military auction house in Guildford. He later started a series of general auctions in East Sussex and was joined in 1962 by Roy Butler, the owner of military specialist The Collectors Shop in Kingston-Upon-Thames.

His son Glenn Butler joined the firm in the mid-1980s and expanded the business to offer regular sales of toys, coins, natural history, clocks and scientific instruments.
