John Nicholson’s Fine Art Auctioneers & Valuers is seeking a motivated
and enthusiastic Saleroom Manager to join our friendly team.
The role will focus on probates, sourcing goods for auctions, building
consignments, cataloguing and developing our sales across all categories.
This is an excellent opportunity to grow with the business and play a
key role in its continued success.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Source and secure probate instructions and private consignments
• Identify and acquire suitable items for auction
• Visit clients, assess and value goods
• Support catalogue preparation and sale planning
• Develop client relationships and help grow the business

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Rostrum experience (essential)
• A knowledge and interest in all forms of fine art including antiques, collectables and paintings
• The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Must be IT Literate
• A full UK driving licence
