The role is hands-on and varied, involving stock handling, packing and shipping, saleroom setup, sale-day support, and general administration. Duties will also include assisting with cataloguing, research, and maintaining stock control systems, with opportunities to gain experience in valuation over time.

Applicants should have a positive, can-do attitude, good attention to detail, and be physically capable of handling stock. An interest in auctions, antiques, art, or collectables is essential, along with basic computer skills and a willingness to learn specialist systems. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work well within a small team are key.
